Security Manager
The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the protection of personnel, facilities, classified information, and operational data supporting the BTSS program. The SM leads all security operations, manages personnel security requirements, and ensures compliance with Department of Defense and Army security regulations. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information associated with operational testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer the program’s personnel security program, including clearance verification and documentation.
Oversee security processes using systems such as DISS and e-QIP for personnel security administration.
Ensure contractor personnel meet required security clearance levels and background investigation standards.
Implement and maintain security policies aligned with DoD security regulations and the National Industrial Security Program.
Develop and maintain operational security (OPSEC) procedures and physical security protocols.
Coordinate with Government security officials to support classified operations and secure facility access.
Manage incident reporting, security training, and compliance monitoring.
Support secure handling, transmission, and protection of classified and sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of experience in personnel security and security management.
Demonstrated experience using DISS and e-QIP systems.
Knowledge of DoD security policies, clearance processing, and classified information protection.
Active Top Secret security clearance required.
