We are seeking a skilled Proposal Technical Writer to develop high-quality, clear, and compelling technical proposals in response to government and commercial solicitations. This role is vital to our commitment to delivering excellence and integrity in service. This is a remote position, some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our company's strengths.
Content Creation: Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and reader-friendly content that aligns with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, other teams, and project managers to gather necessary information and ensure technical accuracy in proposals.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine proposal content for clarity, grammar, and compliance, ensuring a consistent and professional tone.
Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal content and strategy.
Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of proposal content, templates, and past submissions for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal development, within the government contracting sector.
Skills:
Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with proposal management tools.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
