Pay Rate: $19.28 per hour
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM, 30-hours per week position.
Administrative Support personnel work closely with the U.S. Army Recruiting Company Command Leadership Team to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Recruiting office. Perform a variety of clerical duties specific to the recruiting office. The occupation will require knowledge of office systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual locations. This is a full-time,
Employees receive an additional $4.57 per hour health and welfare stipend in addition to their hourly pay rate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars, conference calls, and web-based meetings and resolve conflicts when necessary.
- Notify the appropriate unit or organizational representatives when technology issues arise.
- Receive visitors, telephone calls, and emails, and aid as necessary.
- Answer incoming mail daily and sort or act as required.
- Ensure that both the recruiting company and recruiting stations have sufficient postal and office supplies on hand.
- Establish and maintain reports and files both paper and electronic to maintain current and historical data for future use/reference.
- Access the Defense Travel System (DTS) to prepare various order types and to review unit member’s requests for travel.
- Electronically build and enter Bulk Leads into the Leads Management System as needed.
- Maintain the Digital Training Management System (DTMS) ensuring all training schedules are kept up to date and complete copies of the training schedule are disseminated accordingly
- Maintain the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) for the organization ensuring all files are complete, reports include all required forms, and submitted to the appropriate offices within established timelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365
- Effective communication, organizational, and people skills.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records, stenography, and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Previous work-related, knowledge, or experience in a similar role.
- Must pass a federal background check and drug testing as required.
