Logistics Manager
This role leads all logistics operations supporting operational test missions conducted by the U.S. Army Operational Evaluation Command. This role ensures that personnel, equipment, vehicles, and materials are efficiently coordinated and available to support testing activities across multiple Army installations. The LM ensures mission readiness by managing supply operations, equipment maintenance, transportation assets, and logistical planning required for successful test execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all logistics planning and operational support for test events, exercises, and field operations.
Coordinate supply chain activities including procurement, inventory management, equipment staging, and distribution.
Oversee motor pool operations including maintenance, dispatch, recovery, and operation of test support vehicles and equipment.
Ensure effective use and accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and contractor-provided equipment.
Utilize automated logistics systems including Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army) for logistics tracking and reporting.
Support planning and preparation of test sites, supplies, and operational equipment.
Coordinate logistics requirements across multiple locations including Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, Fort Bliss, and other testing locations.
Ensure logistics operations comply with Army regulations, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of logistics operations management experience.
Demonstrated expertise in military logistics systems and automated logistics management tools.
Experience supporting large-scale operational or field testing environments preferred.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
